Vancouver Homicide Victim List

Around 8:45 p.m. last night, officers from the Vancouver Police Department’s Taskforce Barrage were approached by a witness who reported a stabbing near Carrall and East Hastings Street.

Police found a 48-year-old man with stab wounds lying on the sidewalk outside the West Hotel on Carrall Street. Emergency responders, including police and firefighters, provided first aid at the scene. The man was then taken to hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The suspect has not been located, but investigators believe the stabbing was not a random act.
