Valemount RCMP responded to an assault report at a home on Pine Road in Valemount, British Columbia on August 26th 2025.

Upon arrival, officers found a man and a woman at the scene, both suffering from serious injuries. They were transported to the Valemount Health Centre, where the man later passed away.

Police have stated that there is no ongoing threat to public safety. At this time, further details are being withheld to preserve the integrity of the investigation.
