Toronto police were called to the area of 235 Sherway Gardens Road. on August 18th at approximately 9:43pm on report of a stabbing.

Police arrived to find 2 boys suffering from stab wounds. The victims were rushed to hospital where 15-year-old Jack Meldrum died of his injuries.

Police arrested a 15-year-old boy whose name cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. The accused has been charged with Second Degree Murder.

Update August 30th
Kristopher Quiroz-Brown, 19, of Toronto, the second victim of the August 18th stabbing, died in hospital on August 29th.
