Police responded to reports of a person who was found deceased in an apartment in the Bellevue Crescent and Weston Road area on August 9th at approximately 6:35 p.m.
TPS reported that Ahmed Hassan, 67, of Toronto, was found dead in an apartment. His cause of death has not been released.
Update: On Tuesday, August 15, 2023, Sonya Ahenakew, 38, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
- First-degree Murder
On Wednesday, August 16, 2023, Kidus Kidane, 29, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the outstanding suspect. A Canada-wide Warrant has been issued for:
Faysal Mohamed, 25, of Toronto. He is wanted for:
- First Degree Murder

On Saturday, September 16, 2023, Faysal Mohamed, 24 of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
- First Degree Murder
