Thunder Bay police were en route to a reported break and enter in the 300 block of Syndicate Avenue North on January 9th at approximately 3:00am.
On arrival, police located footprints in the fresh snow. Police followed the footprints and located two male suspects. Upon further investigation, police found 18-year-old Austin Robinson, in serious condition in the Syndicate Avenue North address.
Robinson was rushed to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for further treatment of his life-threatening injuries where he succumbed to his injuries during the weekend.
Cody Echum, 19, of Thunder Bay, and a 14-year-old male were both charged on Thursday, Jan. 9 with Aggravated Assault.
