Thunder Bay police were called to a home in the 300 block of Arundel Street just after 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13th on report of a deceased male.
Despite lifesaving efforts by first responders, Nazareth Andrew Kwandubens, 41, was pronounced at the scene. The cause of death has not been released, however police said the nature of the death was a homicide.
Police arrested Johnathon Mark McKay, 40, and charged him with Second-Degree Murder in connection with the homicide of Nazareth Andrew Kwandubens. No other information is available at this time.

Thunder Bay police responded to reports of an unresponsive woman on a bike path in the County Fair area at approximately 1am on March 19th.
Police said the woman was found deceased on a path near the Landmark Inn. The victim’s identity has not been released at this time. An autopsy is scheduled to take place in Toronto.
Ashley Mary Potson, 32, of Thunder Bay, is charged with Second-Degree Murder, Failing to Comply with Condition Recognizance.
Update March 24th
Thunder Bay police said the deceased has been identified as Tanya Andy, 37, of Thunder Bay.
On March 22nd Thunder Bay police arrested a second suspect. Patrick James Menson, 29, of Thunder Bay, is now charged with Second-Degree Murder and Probation Order Non-Compliance.

Thunder Bay Police Service responded to a report of a dead body by a passerby in the area of 108th Avenue at 1:45pm, on February 24th.
Police arrived to find 40-year-old Lee Chiodo of Thunder Bay
deceased. The cause of death has not been released however police said the
manner of death is a homicide.

Update March 5th
Musab Khamis Saboon turned himself in to the Waterloo Region Police Service at approximately 1:00am on March 5th. Saboon is facing a First-Degree Murder and Kidnapping charge in relation to the homicide investigation of Lee Ciodo. Saboon will apperar in court on March 8th.
Thunder Bay police responded to a report of a
passerby seeing what they believed to be a body at the southern portion of Chapples Park, on December 9th at 11:30am.
Police arrived to find the body of a young man deceased. The victim was transported to Toronto where an autopsy was performed on December 12th. The results of the examination confirmed the body discovered was that of Braiden Jacob, 17, who had been reported missing earlier.
Thunder Bay Police arrested and charged a 22-year-old male in connection with the homicide of Braiden Jacob. Police said the man was arrested on December 14th at approximately 5:00pm. The accused is facing a charge of second degree murder and is scheduled to appear in court on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018.
Thunder Bay Police responded to 300 block of South Brodie Street on a report of possible gunshots on November 11th.
Police arrived at the scene to find Geofrey Christopher Corbeil, 35, suffering from serious life-threatening injuries. EMS rushed Corbeil to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Thunder Bay Police were called an apartment in the 200 block of Cumming Street on October 30th at approximately 5:30 a.m.
Police arrived to find Ashley Chantal McKay, 25, deceased at he scene. Police said the death of McKay is a homicide, cause of death has not been released at this time.
Marlene Lou Kwandibens, 37, Roger Donald McKay, 34, Darren Steven Oombash, 24, and Terryl Nicole Irene Michon, 21, have all been charged with the first-degree-murder of McKay. Police said the there is no relation between the victim and Roger McKay. All of the accused are from Thunder Bay.
Thunder Bay police responded to a report of an assault at a home located in the 100 block of North Algoma street, on August 31st at approximately 7:00pm.
Police arived at the home to find 59-year-old David Hugh Sweeney deceased. Det. Insp. Ryan Hughes said there was trauma to the body but would not provide any further details. No other information is available at this time.

The body of Amelia Corrie Sainnawap, 31, was found in an empty lot on Cumming Street on Wednesday August 22nd.
The Thunder Bay Police Service is investigating the death of Sainnawap as a homicide. No arrests have been made.

Thunder Bay police were called to a home on 100 block of Rupert Street on April 1st.
Police arrived at the scene to find a deceased male. An autopsy was conducted on April 3rd, and police are treating the death as suspicious.

Thunder Bay police were called to a home on McLaughlin Street, at around 5:40 a.m. on February 26th. Police arrived to find a 63 year old man dead and a 25 year old woman injured.
The woman was sent to hospital for treatment and was released. Police issued a Canada Wide Warrant for the arrest of Charles Casmey in relation to the homicide. On March 1st, Charles Casmey was taken into custody when he surrendered to police at approximately 9:25 p.m. Casmey has been charged with Second Degree Murder,Assault Causing Bodily Harm and Fail to Comply with Recognizance.
