The 2022 Surrey BC Homicide Victim List is available here

Police responded to an altercation in the 14100-block of 61 Ave, on August 31st at approximately 2:00pm.

On arrival police located a man in medical distress who died of his injuries at the scene. The victim has been identified as filmmaker Manbir “Mani” Amar, 40.

One man has been arrested and the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has taken carriage of the investigation. Police said the homicide was an ‘isolated incident between two neighbours’.
