RNC Operational Patrol Services Division responded to the report of an injured male lying on the ground in the area of Sebastian Court in St. John’s, on April 30th at approximately 1:30 am.

Police and paramedics arrived to find a 25-year-old male from St. John’s in serious condition. He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries. The victim’s identity and cause of death has not been released.

Following consultation with the OCME, the RNC CID are investigating the death as a homicide. No arrests have been made and police are asking for witnesses or video footage in the area of downtown St. John’s surrounding Sebastian Court from midnight to 2:00 am on Sunday, April 30.
