Nova Scotia 2026 Homicide Victim List
At approximately 3:50 a.m., on June 11th, Kings District RCMP responded to a report of a man found dead outside a residence on Peck Meadow Road. Due to the circumstances surrounding the death, investigators considered the incident suspicious, and the RCMP Southwest Nova Major Crime Unit assumed responsibility for the case.
The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service has since confirmed that the man’s death has been ruled a homicide.
Police arrested one individual on June 11 in connection with the investigation; however, that person was later released without charges.
According to investigators, evidence gathered so far suggests the incident was targeted. The investigation remains active as officers continue to collect information and pursue leads.
Authorities have expressed their condolences to the victim’s family and friends during this difficult time.
