Prince Albert Police investigate the New Year’s Day homicide of a man on 13th street East

Prince Albert Police Service responded to a residence in the 200 Block of 13th Street East on January 1st at approximately 4:00am on a weapons call.

Police arrived to find a 20-year-old man suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to the Victoria Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The victim’s identity and cause of death have not been released.

Prince Albert Police Service are asking residents who live in the area around the 200 and 300 Blocks of 12th and 13th Street East to check their video surveillance systems for suspicious activity between the hours of 10 p.m. on Friday, December 31, 2021 and 5 a.m. on January 1.
