The Ottawa Homicide Victim List is available here

The Ottawa Police Service responded to multiple 911 calls on April 6th just after 9:30 a.m., reporting shots fired in the 300 block of Craig Henry Drive.

On arrival, police located 20-year-old Mahad Elmi, who succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. A 21-year-old man has serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators believe that the vehicle depicted in the still images is the suspect vehicle.

Anyone with information about the vehicle, its owner and/or the driver, are asked to call police.

Update: Osman YARE, 22-years-old, has been charged with first degree murder and attempted murder. Ottawa police offer thanks to public who replied to the plea for assistance.
