The Ottawa Homicide Victim List is available here

Ottawa Police Service attended an address on Bentbrook Crescent (Barrhaven) and located a female inside the home deceased on April 5th in the evening.

Police said the victim was identified as 61-year-old Brenda Rus of Ottawa. Her cause of death has not been released.

Robert RUS, 61-years-old, of Ottawa, has been charged with first-degree murder. Investigators said the homicide is considered a femicide.
