Nova Scotia 2026 Homicide Victim List
Officers were called to a residence on Ling Street around 6:00 p.m. on April 22nd after receiving a report of an emergency inside the home. When police arrived, they located an unresponsive individual. Paramedics were called to the scene, but the person was pronounced dead shortly after their arrival.
Police confirmed that the victim is a 25-year-old woman. Investigators say the suspect, a 32-year-old man who was known to her, was arrested at the scene. She has been identified as Jazmine Nicholas-Cloud.
Following the investigation, the accused has been identified as Zachary Paul Landry. He has been charged with second-degree murder and is expected to appear in court on Thursday.
Authorities have indicated that the incident is being treated as isolated, and there is no ongoing risk to public safety. The investigation is being led by Major Crime and Forensic Identification units in coordination with the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner’s Office.
