Winnipeg, Manitoba 2026 Homicide Victim List

On April 21, 2026, just before 11:30 p.m., Winnipeg Police Service responded to a homicide at an apartment complex in the 1200 block of St. Anne’s Road.

When officers from East District General Patrol arrived, they found an 80-year-old woman who had suffered fatal injuries. She was later identified as Gladys Bellamy.

The Winnipeg Police Homicide Unit has since taken over the investigation. Early findings indicate that the individuals involved were known to each other prior to the incident.

A male suspect was taken into custody at the scene without further incident.

Police have charged 74-year-old Jose Francisco Raulino with second-degree murder in connection with the death.
