Police and paramedics responded to an apartment near the corner of Saint-Joseph Boulevard and Sainte-Marie Street on December 12th at approximately 8:00pm.

On arrival police located a 50-year-old man suffering from gunshot injuries. Despite life-saving efforts he was pronounced deceased at the scene.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
