Montreal police responded to a wellness check at an apartment on des Pins Avenue in the Ville-Marie borough, on September 30th at approximately 7:20pm.

On arrival, police noticed traces of blood that led to the discovery of an unconscious man hidden in an outdoor garbage bin on Doctor Penfield Ave. The cause of death and the victim’s identity have not been released, however, police said the victim’s body showed signs of violence.

No arrests have been made at this time.
