The 2022 Brantford Homicide Victim List is available here

Brantford Police Service responded to a disturbance at a residence located on Henry Street, near Stanley Street on September 29th at approximately 7:30 p.m.

On arrival, police and paramedics located a 60-year-old man who had sustained life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries. Police said the victim’s name is not being released at this time, out of respect for the family.

18-year-old Aedyn James Pickering, of Brantford, was arrested at the scene and is charged with first-degree murder. 

Pickering appeared in bail court this morning and was remanded into custody.
