Montreal police responded to a 911 call at the Maison Hamilton apartment building in Côte Saint-Luc, Just before midnight on May 17th.
On arrival police located a 36-year-old woman suffering from injuries to the upper body from a sharp object. She was pronounced at the scene.
A 35-year-old man was arrested on scene Police said the victim and the accused were in a marital relationship. Two children were in the apartment at the time of the crime and were unharmed.
