London Police Service and Middlesex-London Emergency Medical Services responded to the report of an injured man in the 400 block of Clarke Road on August 7th at around 6:30am.

Police located the injured man who was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries. The victim’s identity and cause of death have not been released at this time.

Anyone who may have witnessed this event or has surveillance footage that may capture the area of Dundas Street, Clarke Road and Wavell Street is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670.

Update August 9th
London police have identified the victim as 31-year-old Devon Cherrey-Rooke, of London. Investigators said Cherrey-Rooke death was caused as a result of a fatal stab wound.

No arrests have been made.
