Regina police were dispatched to a call for service at a residence on the 1000 block of King Street on August 23rd at approximately 10:00pm.

Police arrived to find EMS who informed police that a male was inside the residence. Police entered and apprehended the male. Police then located an unresponsive adult female who EMS declared deceased at the scene.

The man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Regina police said thirty-nine-year-old Kristopher Kyle SOBY, of Regina, has been charged with second-degree murder.
