The 2023 Alberta Homicide Victim List is available here

Fort McMurray, major crimes unit, along with firefighters and EMS, were called to the report of a body on the shore of Gregoire Lake, north of Highway 881, on September 14th at approximately 9:30pm.

On arrival police located 17-year-old Keelin Kortzman from Fort McMurray 468 First Nation. His cause of death has not been released, however, the medical examiner deemed the death a homicide.
