Barrie Ontario 2026 Homicide Victim List

Barrie Police have identified the human remains found in Berczy Park as 50-year-old Jamie Goudreault, also known as “Bones.”

The remains were discovered on June 5, 2026, prompting police to close the park and launch an investigation. After a post-mortem examination, investigators confirmed Goudreault’s identity and classified his death as a homicide, although the cause of death has not yet been released.

Police are asking anyone with information about Goudreault’s recent movements or who may have surveillance or dashcam footage to contact the Barrie Police Major Crime Unit as the investigation continues.
