Airdrie RCMP responded to the report of an abandoned utility trailer on Township Road 252 and Range Road 283 on September 30th at approximately 6:13pm. When the tow truck arrived, further examination led to the discovery of human remains inside, and RCMP were notified.

The trailer is described as a homemade utility trailer with camouflage paint.

The investigation has determined the human remains are believed to be those of a female and an autopsy is to be completed the week of October 4th.  Anyone who may have information about the trailer or have seen the trailer in the Calgary or surrounding area, as well as anyone who may have dash cam footage in the area of Township 252 and Range Road 283 between Sept. 24, 2021- Sept. 27, 2021, to contact the Airdrie RCMP at 403-945-7267, or your local police.

Update October 14th
Alberta RCMP Major Crimes have identified the deceased female who was located in the abandoned trailer as Myra Dela Cruz Paule, 40, of Calgary.
