The 2025 Quebec Homicide Victim List is available here

At approximately 9:00 AM on Saturday, January 25th, Quebec provincial police were called to a home in Saint-Anicet.

Upon arrival, police found a victim unconscious at the scene. Despite attempts to provide medical assistance, the individual was tragically pronounced dead on-site. Police have not released the gender, Identity or cause of death at this time. Police did confirm that they are investigating the death as a homicide.

55-year-old Manuel Rouleau was arrested at the scene, and has since been charged with second-degree murder.
