Ottawa police and paramedics responded to reports of gunshots in the 1500 block of Caldwell Avenue on September 20th at 3:20pm.
Emergency crews arrived to find 20 year old Hamzeh Serhan suffering from a gunshot wound. Serhan was rushed to hospital in critical condition where he died of his injuries.

Ottawa Police have asked for the public’s assistance in locating Farah Handule, 20, of Toronto. Handul has been charged with second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of Hamzeh Serhan, 20, on September 20th. Farah Handule is described as 6’1” , 150 lbs with a dark complexion.
