Update December 22
According to the Hamilton Spectator “Dr. Joseph Ferencz, an expert in forensic psychiatry, told a Hamilton court Thursday that at the time of the killing, Jonathan had been suffering from schizoaffective disorder, which caused him to experience delusions that left him unable to understand the wrongfulness of his actions.”

Jonathan Lewis will remain in the hospital until the Ontario Review Board decides if he can safely be released.
