Codiac RCMP are investigating the suspicious deaths of a man and a woman

Codiac RCMP were called to a home on Amirault Street in Dieppe on September 7th where they discovered the bodies of 78-year-old Bernard Saulnier and 74-year-old Rose-Marie Saulnier.

Sgt. Pierre Chiasson stated that both deaths have been deemed suspicious, but there isn’t an active threat to the public. Police do not believe this was a random occurrence.

The New Brunswick RCMP’s Major Crime Unit is asking for the public’s help to locate a second vehicle in connection with the investigation into the homicides of two Dieppe residents in September.

Update September 7th, 2023
On September 7, 2023, Janson Bryan Baker of Moncton, N.B., was charged in Moncton Provincial Court with two counts of first-degree murder. He was already in prison pending court proceedings on several other matters, and was remanded into the custody of Corrections Canada.
