Drayton Valley RCMP responded to a call for assistance at the local hospital on August 30th at approximately 8:00pm when a man was dropped off outside the local hospital with serious life-threatening injuries.

The victim, who was identified as Jonathan James Paul, 40, was able to provide police with information prior to duing of his injuries. Police were able to locate the scene of the collision involving the victim being struck by motor vehicle, at a farm located in Breton, Alta.

As a result of the investigation 33-year-old, Bronwyn Hannah-Jane Luckham, of Carstairs, Alberta, was arrested and charged with second degree murder.
