Donnelly Strawberry charged with manslaughter in relation to the death of a missing woman, Crystal Whitford, in O’Chiese First Nation

Rocky Mountain House RCMP were seeking the assistance of the public in locating Crystal Whitford, 41, of O’Chiese First Nation, who was reported missing on July 18th.

Whitfird last seen walking on a path in the woods near her home on O’Chiese First Nation on the night of Sunday, July 18, 2021.

Rocky Mountain House Search and Rescue and Rocky Mountain House RCMP located a deceased female, identified as 41-year-old female, Crystal Whitford, on the O’Chiese First Nation on July 21st.

On September 8th police announced that the investigation into the death of Crystal Whitford determined that she died as a result of the injuries sustained from a motor vehicle collision. Donnelly Strawberry, 27, from the O’Chiese First Nation has been charged with Manslaughter.
