Norway House RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing at approximately 2:45pm on January 13th.

Police located a 23-year-old female victim, suffering from serious injuries. The victim was taken to the hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Police have not released the victim’s identity at this time.

RCMP announced on January 16th, as a result of the investigation 28-year-old Alicia Menow, of Norway House, is charged with Manslaughter and has been remanded into custody.
