The 2023 Manitoba Homicide Victim List is available here

Winnipegosis RCMP received a report of an assault at a residence on Skownan First Nation on January 14th at approximately 10:25am.

On arrival police located a 68-year-old man deceased. The victim’s identity and cause of death have not been released, however, investigators said his death is being investigated as a homicide.

Major Crime Services, along with RCMP Forensic Identification Services and Winnipegosis RCMP, continue to investigate.
