Vancouver police responded to the report of a stabbing in the area of Smithe and Homer Street on July 11th at approximately 8:30am.

On arrival police and paramedics located 29-year-old Justin Mohrmann suffering from severe injuries. The victim was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Update July 20Vancouver police announced that they have arrested 34-year-old Lindsay Scott on July 17th, near Main and Hastings, and charged her with second-degree murder.

Sergeant Steve Addison said “Investigators have found no evidence to suggest the victim and accused knew each other. We believe they were strangers.”
