North Bay Police and Emergency Medical Services responded to reports of a man who sustained injuries from an edged weapon during an assault on on Wyld Street on December 4th.

Police and paramedics arrived to find Nicolas Nicholls, 27, of North Bay, suffering from serious injuries. He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries on December 11th.

As a result of the investigation Sandra Dorothy Haggart, 26, was charged with Second Degree Murder, and Travis Stillaway, 26, was charged with Second Degree Murder and Failure to comply with release order.

The accused remain in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
