RCMP accounted that the Tsuut’ina Nation Fire Department responded to a fire in the area of Range Road 40 and Highway 8 in Rocky View County on April 3rd, at around 5:30 a.m. when they located human remains in a grass fire.

Update: An autopsy was completed at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Calgary on April 4, 2024. The death is being investigated as a homicide.

The deceased has been identified as 33-year-old Kyle Schuiling, a resident of Calgary. Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit (MCU) are investigating and needs assistance from the public.
