Lachute police responded to a 911 call made around 4 a.m. on January 20th at an apartment building on Lafleur St on the report of a badly injured man.

Police arrived to find 18-year-old Tristan Boyer severely beaten and his father also injured. The two victims were rushed to hospital where Boyer was declared deceased. The victim’s father remains in hospital. According to reports, the victim was known to police. 

Two people have been arrested, however, police have not released their identities or extent of charges.
