In the early hours of Tuesday, November 25, 2025, Toronto police responded to reports of a shooting near King Street West and Spadina Avenue around 4:45 a.m.
Authorities say the accused was approached by a group of males who opened fire, striking him. In response, the accused discharged a firearm, hitting one of the men in the group. The victim has been identified as 18-year-old Dylan Adams of Toronto. He was brought to a hospital shortly afterward, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said the accused was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
On Wednesday, November 26, 2025, the accused, Frandy Noel, 27, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder.
On Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, Frandy Noel faced additional charges, including possession of a restricted or prohibited firearm without a valid licence or registration, possession of a loaded regulated firearm, possession of a firearm while prohibited, and discharging a firearm in a manner reckless to the life or safety of others.
Update: On January 8th 2026, Toronto Police identified two more suspects connected to the investigation. Wissem Mohamed Rehayem, 30, of Montreal, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for multiple firearms-related offences, including unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm in a vehicle, possession contrary to a prohibition order, and being an accessory after the fact to a reckless firearm discharge.
Another suspect, Steven Brice Pierre, 26, also of Montreal, is facing the same charges under a Canada-wide warrant. Authorities have released images of both men, who are believed to have connections to both Toronto and Montreal.
Police warn that the suspects should be considered armed and dangerous. Members of the public are advised not to approach them and to call 9-1-1 immediately if they are located.
On Friday, April 10, 2026, Zavion Boswell, 22, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
- Manslaughter
- Robbery with a Firearm
- Robbery
- three counts of Possession of Restricted/Prohibited Firearm
- Occupant of a Motor Vehicle in Which There is a Restricted/Prohibited Firearm
Wissem Mohamed Rehayem, 30, of Montreal, was taken into custody on April 27, 2026 and charged with several offences, including:
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- possession of a firearm in violation of a prohibition order
- and accessory after the fact to the indictable offence of discharging a firearm in a manner that endangered life.
Update: On Monday, May 25, 2026, Stephen Brice Pierre was arrested by the Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force and taken into custody on multiple firearm-related charges.
Pierre has been charged with:
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in a Vehicle
- Possession of a Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order
- Accessory After the Fact to Discharge Firearm Being Reckless to Life
- two counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Firearm
- Possession of a Loaded Prohibited Firearm
- Possession of a Firearm while Prohibited
