Toronto police patrolling the area of Duncanwoods Dr & Finch Ave West in the evening of January 18th, when they heard gunshots.

Police found several shell casings, and located Tyjjuan Kidd-Bailey, 20, of Brampton, suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Despite life-saving efforts from Toronto paramedics, the victim died of his injuries on the scene.

Witnesses said the suspect fled the scene on foot into the ravine area. He has been described as male, black, wearing a mask, and a red jacket.

Update January 22nd
On January 21, 2021, at 1:36 p.m., Toronto police arrested Deandre Cadougan, 19, of Toronto, and charged him with Second-Degree Murder.
