A 31-year-old Thunder Bay man, Ryan Peter Legourrierec, was found dead on Aug. 30, 2024 in a home on Tamarack Place.

Police have issued arrest warrants for two suspects, 18-year-old Haratio Shawayahamish and 20-year-old Landon Achneepineskum, and are asking the public for help locating them, warning not to approach if seen. Investigators believe the suspects may still be in the area and say the homicide did not involve a firearm, is not linked to the drug trade, and does not appear to involve any prior relationship between the suspects and the victim. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
