North Bay police announced on August 30th that 29-year-old Cody Secord was arrested and charged with:

• 1 count of manslaughter,
• 14 counts of drug trafficking,
• 2 counts of sexual assault,
• 2 counts of invitation to sexual touching, one count of voyeurism,
• 3 counts of householder permitting sexual activity,
• 8 counts of failing to comply with prohibition order regarding children,
• 1 count of making child pornography
• 1 count of possessing child pornography.

Police said “On multiple occasions in 2022, the accused procured and provided illegal drugs to the victims and subsequently performed sexual offences on and with the victims. In one incident, the accused procured and provided illegal drugs to one of the victims, which was consumed, and resulted in the victim’s overdose death.”
