Thompson RCMP received a report that a body had been located near Nelson Road on October 17th at approximately 5:10pm.

Officers located the body of a deceased female who has been identified as Bobbie Lynn Lee Moose, 29, of the Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation. The cause of death has not been released at this time.

Police are requesting anyone who may have information in relation to this homicide as well as her activities between October 1 and October 17, 2019, are asked to contact the Thompson RCMP at 204-677-6909.

Update August 3, 2021
RCMP Major Crime Services investigators flew to Thompson, Manitoba on July 28th and arrested Jack Clarence Flett, 52, of Thompson. Flett has been charged with First Degree Murder in relation to the murder of Bobbie Lynn Moose.
