South Simcoe Police responded to a home on dePeuter Crescent in the town of Bradford West Gwillimbury for a well-being check on May 17th at 6:15pm.

On arrival police located a man and a woman deceased. Investigators said the incident is related to intimate partner violence. They said a male in his late 60’s killed his wife who was in her late 50’s, then committed suicide.

Police said the couple lived in Bradford for several decades. Over that time there were no prior police calls to this residence.
