Surrey police responded to report of a suspicious circumstance in the 17800 block of 64 Avenue, on January 8th at 12:30am.

Police located Shawnn Patrick Cotter, 37, unresponsive. Despite life saving efforts Cotter was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Corporal Meghan Foster of IHIT said “from the evidence gathered so far investigators believe that his death is not random.”
