RCMP were called to the Morinville Estates Manufactured Home Community shortly after 4:30 a.m. on April 18 on the report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found Shayne Fry suffering from fatal gunshot wounds. He was pronounced at the scene.

While the investigation is still ongoing, RCMP say early evidence suggests the shooting was targeted, and there is no immediate threat to public safety.
