Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to reports of a stabbing at a home in
Janvier on January 15th. On arrival Police located the deceased body of Wanda Cardinal, 37.

Eugenia Herman, 26, was arrested later that day and charged with second-degree murder. She is scheduled to appear in Fort McMurray Provincial Court on Jan. 21.
