North Battleford RCMP received a report of an altercation at a residence at Moosomin First Nation on September 5th just after 4:00am.

On arrival police located an injured man who has been identified as 30-year-old Catlin Frenchman from Moosomin First Nation. Frenchman was pronounced deceased at the scene, his death has been determined to be a homicide.

No arrests have been made at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact North Battleford RCMP at 306-446-1720.
