Manitoulin OPP responded to a 911 report of a domestic disturbance at a residence in the Sables-Spanish Rivers Township on August 4th at approximately 8:38pm.

Police arrived to find Vincent Gagne, 46, suffering from serious injuries. Gange was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries. The cause of death has not been released at this time.

Police arrested Melissa Eden, 45, of Sables-Spanish Rivers Township, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. The relationship between the accused and the victim has not been made public.
