Winnipeg, Manitoba 2026 Homicide Victim List

Late in the evening on April 21, 2026, around 10:32 p.m., officers from the North District, supported by the Tactical Support Team and the K9 Unit, responded to reports of suspected gunfire at an apartment complex in Inkster Gardens.

When police arrived, they found two adults inside a suite suffering from serious gunshot injuries. Officers immediately administered emergency first aid before both individuals were transported to hospital by ambulance.

A woman in her 30s was initially listed in critical condition but was later upgraded to stable. A man in his 50s remained in critical condition at the time.

The Major Crimes Unit assumed responsibility for the case and determined that the shooting stemmed from a domestic-related incident. Authorities confirmed there were no outstanding suspects.

Tragically, on April 22, 2026, the man died as a result of his injuries.
