The New Westminster Police Department was called to the 1400 block of Salter Street for a report of sudden death on September 24th, 2024 at approximately 5:00pm.
Upon police arrival, a 38 year-old female was located deceased under suspicious circumstances.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) was contacted and has assumed conduct of the investigation. IHIT will be working in partnership with the New Westminster Police Major Crime Unit to gather evidence and determine the circumstances of the death.
