The Hamilton 2022 Homicide Victim List is available here

Hamilton police responded to a shooting in the area of King St.E & Dunsmure Road late at approximately 8:12pm on December 11th.

Police and paramedics arrived to find a man in his 20’s suffering from gunshot injuries who was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim has been identified as 23-year-old Everton Frost from Hamilton. Police believe his death was targeted.

Hamilton Police are asking the public to check any surveillance cameras in the surrounding area between 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Police remain in the area and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anything suspicious to contact Det. David Tsuchida at 905-546-4123.

Update: Hamilton Police announced on July 6th that they have arrested Salomon Bashir, a 20-year-old man from Hamilton and charged him with First Degree Murder.
