The 2021 Edmonton Homicide Victim List is available here

Edmonton police responded to a weapon’s complaint at approximately 12:40 a.m, on Aug. 24, at a residence near 119 Avenue and 79 Street. 

Police arrived to find an injured 46-year-old man. He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Homicide Section has taken over the investigation. The Edmonton Medical Examiner completed an autopsy that revealed which Byron Harvey, 46, died from a gunshot wound and the manner of death was a homicide.
